Synopsis - The Micromobile

"The Micromobile"
A Synopsis From The Original Screenplay
By Richard S. Omura

An alien parasite called the Gyx that thrives on the pain and suffering of other beings crashlands on Earth in 500 B.C.
In the year 2010 A.D., Gene Tracer and his half-machine Uncle Fred have an invention called the Micromobile which is a tiny insect sized airplane piloted by remote control. Unknown to the two, the Micromobile is very similar to micro-units, devices used by the Soothers, a race of giant, benevolent aliens countering the evil of the Gyx, the parasite still on Earth and causing much suffering and strife. The micro-units are artificial constructs created by the Soothers that have been spreading harmony and goodwill on Earth by posing as wisemen and spiritual leaders.
Gene becomes involved when Sylvia, his girlfriend, disappears after receiving a videotape from Professor Mendle, who had recently been killed. While Gene is searching for Sylvia, a burglar breaks in to his house but is knocked out by Uncle Fred and the Micromobile. The incapacitated burglar is unmasked and is discovered to be Adrian, Professor Mendle's protege. Further probing finds that Adrian is also a cyborg.
Gene is then visited by Jules Palnier, head of a peace organization called One Nation Earth, and is accidentally beamed aboard the Soother's mothership. On board, Gene comes face to face with the gigantic Soothers who explain that Jules Palnier, as well as Adrian, are micro-units and that the peace loving aliens have been sending such units as their proxies to act as missionaries of peace. Their plan was to starve the Gyx by preventing violence and chaos, which the evil alien needs to survive.
The Soothers inform Gene that the Gyx, inhabiting the body of Senator Zane, is intent on being the next president of the United States. The videotape that Sylvia had received from Professor Mendle had footage that showed Senator Zane to be a voracious monster. The senator, along with his terrorist group, the Fundamental Anarchs, killed Mendle but was unable to procure the tape, because it was given to Sylvia, who was now sequestered in a safehouse by the Soothers' proxies.
During his stay aboard the Soothers' ship, Gene is confronted by the fact that the Soothers are so peace loving that they will not risk having human casualties even to nullify the Gyx.
As Gene is being briefed by the Soothers, the Fundamental Anarchs with Senator Zane/Gyx are closing in on Sylvia's hiding place, a factory that the Soothers use as a repair depot for their micro-units.  So the Soothers challenge Gene's ingenuity: to rescue Sylvia, expose the Senator, and to overcome the Fundamental Anarchs, all without revealing the Soother's presence and without human casualties.
